Bans valley is flooded by spring flowers! Located in the valley of Vallouise after locality of Entraygues towards the Bans refuge the valley is quite easily accessible, a first ascent leads to a ledge. Early in the season, many snowfields through the trail.
Spring walk
A small pond filled with tadpoles marks the end of the ledge. Then begins the second and final climb to the refuge Bans. Among the smaller of the Alps (22 sleeps), it is not less nice. The guards are doing well good grills at reasonable prices.
The North faces peaks Bonvoisin or Jocelme regularly dump their excess snow in amazing rock slamming. The valley is also rich in wildlife, in addition to the chamois, marmots, foxes, you may be lucky enough to spot ibex. The few images on this page have Lys Orange (worthy of real postcards).
